    Consciousness

Practicing the unhurried approach of defining the relevance and importance of the next step we take: What is to be brought into the realm of reality through the form of creation? How does it resonate in relation to the maker – audience evolvement progression? In accordance with what is felt and read within the energy field, we embark on a mindful journey of choosing the cloth, connecting to the physical and tactile experience of drawing, collaging, sewing, redefining and more until we find ourselves at the source of the thought process that leads us there. These are NEW clothes made with reverence and commitment; consideration for the ecology and desire to align ourselves to the respectful and authentic symbiosis of man and his habitat - nature.

    Sustainability

Seeing our mission in raising the frequency of the value of earth as a whole by using newly developed technologies on the subject of no excess, preserving ancient crafts across all cultures, sourcing vintage and ethnographic materials as well as appropriating wind or ocean- fall walks in order to collect our materials.

    Health

Believing that human effort retained during the making of the cloth repairs your body on a cellular level - that’s why our clothes hold to this quality. We also trust plants' healing properties, hence we choose to work with linen, hemp, cotton, shell, seeds etc.; undyed natural fibers or use solar dyeing as it is the most energy-efficient means of applying color. If we find vintage ‘dead stock’ of any animal-based and/or chemically colored fabrics, we will use those to the limit without reproduction.

    Future

From the year 2017, we have chosen to step to our own rhythm of presentations. And we will steadily move towards making our clothes non-seasonal and production-based on when materials are found and/or available. The texture is a core factor taken into consideration during all of our creations. We are often inspired by the reoccurring fractals in the structural fabric of the universe. Collections are accompanied by a visual exploration of a conceptual notion on the path of spirit/metaphysics. We are now expanding into a lifestyle brand producing: art, fashion, furniture and health products with the same essence.

“Let’s create something together that’s going to be memorable. Something that we can leave for other generations.”

Artist and designer Iulia Filipovscaia grew up in Mirny, a small mining town in Eastern Siberia, and her work is deeply inspired by the nature and potency of this vast, wild and magical land. Whilst still studying at Central Saint Martins in London, Filipovscaia began collaborating with her mother on hand knitted pieces. The evolving label, named after her mother Svetlana (Lana) and their home (Siberie), grew from creating bespoke pieces to rich collections with a focus on nature and craftsmanship.
