Kinomi – perfection in the form of a nut.
Kinomi (nuts in Japanese) were born when our founder Hiromi Stone found her Japanese cooking students loved the flavoured nuts she was serving and asked to buy them. Today, they have evolved into a line of the best nuts she can source combined with truly unique spice combinations. At the base is still a taste of Japan; soy sauce, sake and kombu.
“Kodawari”, the Japanese principle of perfection lies at the heart of Kinomi. It means an uncompromising and relentless devotion to a craft. Good enough is never enough, we strive to bring perfection to everyday snacks.
We won’t sell what we won’t eat. That is why every Kinomi product will always be made with simple ingredients, blended with love, chosen with kodawari for a taste of nutty perfection.
