Proof Point Basis

The Fully Recycled Product proof point highlights products made entirely from recycled material. ISO 14021 defines recycled material as reprocessed from reclaimed material via a manufacturing process into a new product, sourced from either pre-consumer or post- consumer materials waste. Pre-consumer waste is diverted during manufacturing, before it reaches an end user, excluding scrap reclaimed within the same process that generated it. Whereas post-consumer waste is material that has completed its intended use and can no longer serve that purpose, this includes returns from the distribution chain.
