Partly Recyclable Packaging

Criteria

• The recyclable parts need to be easily separated from the non-recyclable ones – no tools should be needed
• The main packaging component must be recyclable
• Recyclability is defined as widespread kerbside collection

Publication Requirements

• Specify which parts are recyclable and whether they need to be separated
• If some parts are also recyclable through a recycling scheme, this should be mentioned here

Accepted Evidence

Evidence should strongly support the claim and will be made publicly available

• Signed statement of transparency from a management team member including the individual components, their material, and whether they are kerbside recyclable
• Report from an organisation that confirms that the parts are recyclable
• Packaging specification from your supplier

Accepted Verifiers

Verifiers are third parties who can confirm the validity of a given Proof Point

• Membership with a regulation body that can confirm recyclability
• Testing facility
