- The product must not contain any preservative additives classified under the E200–E299 functional class in EU Regulation 1333/2008
- The product must not use vegetable-derived curing agents, including celery powder, celery extract, celery juice concentrate, or beetroot extract used for curing
What documents do I need to supply?
Evidence should strongly support the claim and will be made publicly available - Full product ingredient list with a signed statement confirming no synthetic preservatives or vegetable-derived curing agents have been intentionally added to the product. This can be a document signed by a management team member - a supplier/manufacturer statement that includes the full ingredient list and the above confirmation.
